Rudi came to our herd as a kid in early 2023, he settled in beautifully and seamlessly joined our show team. He was very well received by the judges and had excellent results.

Rudi grew very rapidly and by the time he was a yearling he had developed into quite an impressive buck with lovely length and width throughout. He continued to show exceptionally well, finishing his junior show career with a Best of Breed result.

In the spring of 24 as a 2-year-old, time came to decide if he would show as a senior. We pulled him out and measured him and sure enough he was still under height and earned himself a spot on the show team for another season. As a senior, there has been less competition, but he is steadily working towards earning his show points for AGB.

Rudi brings some exciting genetics to the table as an AI son of Castle Rock Mad About the Moon and First Fleet Mimi, who comes from a very strong line of beautiful First Fleet Nigerian Dwarf does. We have retained 3 fullblood doe kids and a 75% doe at this stage. His daughters all have lovely length, toplines, angularity, open escutcheons and excellent teats. It will be very exciting to see his first daughters freshen in 2025.
