Louise came to us as a 1yo first freshener. As a 2yo she freshened with triplets and blossomed into the refined, long bodied dairy goat she was promising to be, I especially liked her lovely long rump and flatness thurl to thurl. She milked nicely, maintaining good volume well into her 3rd pregnancy.

As a 3yo 3rd freshener she further developed her good body capacity and excellent milk production. At 15 days lactation she milked 2.09kg at 7.16% butterfat, earning her *Q* milk award with DGSA. She followed this up with winning a Type and 24-hour production class against a strong class of Nigerians and Standard does. Despite competing against Karina and limited outings, Louise also earned her Australian Championship title with AGB in early 2024.

Louise's first daughter, Lyanna has developed into a truely impressive dairy style Nigerian Dwarf. Her milk test at 44 days into her 2nd lactation yielded 1.81kgs and 7.98% butterfat! At 2 years old Lya won Best in Show and Best Udder at an AGB show and followed up with a Best Exhibit and Best Udder at the Tasmanian Branch show for DGSA. Louise's son First Fleet Innocent Bystander has also been very successfully shown and proven as a sire. 

Not only is Louise an impressive doe in her own right, more importantly, she is producing outstanding offspring. With 3 daughters now retained, her contribution to the development of our herd has been pivotol.
